There is a small beach within a 10 minute walk with the stunning Playa Flamingo beach a further 15 minutes walk. Playa Blanca is situated on the south coast of the island and has the best of the weather and sunshine, particularly in the southwest corner where Playa Burgado is situated. It has been tastefully developed and has a beautiful pedestrianised shopping area as well as many seaside bars, cafes and excellent restaurants. The harbour, where you can catch the ferry to Fuerteventura is a few minutes drive away, as is the stunning new marina with it's cafes and restaurants. All in all, a magnificent place to have the holiday you've dreamt of!
Local activities include cycling, diving, fishing, golf, mountain biking, paragliding, sailing, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking and wind surfing and of course Lanzarote with its stunning and unique scenery and lunar landscape is a fantastic place for a walking holiday, especially in the winter, spring and autumn.
