Alegranza is a quiet and secluded residential community of 100 villas and bungalows that also has three large communal pool areas, including baby pools, the nearest of which is only a few metres from the our villas. It is a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and a 5 minute drive from the centre of Playa Blanca and the beach. Playa Blanca is situated on the south coast of the island and has the best of the weather and sunshine, particularly in the southwest corner where Alegranza is situated. It has been tastefully developed and has spectacular beaches, in particular the famous Papagayo and Playa Flamingo, which are within easy reach of the villas. It has a beautiful pedestrianised shopping area as well as many seaside bars, cafes and excellent restaurants. The harbour, where you can catch the ferry to Fuerteventura is a few minutes drive away, as is the stunning new marina with it's cafes and restaurants. All in all, a magnificent place to have the holiday you've dreamt of!
Local activities include cycling, diving, fishing, golf, mountain biking, paragliding, sailing, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking and wind surfing and of course Lanzarote with its stunning and unique scenery and lunar landscape is a fantastic place for a walking holiday, especially in the winter, spring and autumn. Or for the lazy - beaches, bars, restaurants and of course sun!!
