Things to do at Marina Rubicon
Rubicat
Sample life on board a luxury catamaran by taking a trip on the Rubicat.
This twin hull, 23 metre yacht sails to Papagayo. Here you can enjoy jet
skiing and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters or just lap up the sun on
deck whilst the crew pampers you with free food and drink.
Rubisail
You can get more active and learn to skipper your own craft. At Rubisail you
can learn the ropes with experienced instructors whilst exploring the
beautiful southern coastline of Lanzarote. Or just head off for a paddle in
one of their one or two man kayaks.
Rubicon Diving
Alternatively, head below the waves and explore the undersea world around
Lanzarote. The southern coast is home to some of the islands best dive spots
and Rubicon Diving’s expert instructors are happy to guide everyone through
them, whether novices or experienced divers.
Swimming
You can even use the swimming pool at the Marina should you fancy a dip. The
freshwater pool here also boasts a large private sun deck.
Tennis
The Marina has a fantastic tennis court overlooking the sea as well as two
padel tennis courts. Anyone can hire them for a game.
Sammer Gallery — La Ermita
Marina Rubicón’s La Ermita art gallery is designed in the style of a small
island church. The Gallery hosts regular exhibitions in a tranquil
atmosphere and also offers spectacular views over the Marina and the
surrounding coastline.
Shopping
The Marina Rubicon is surrounded by a very attractive promenade called El
Paseo, which is perfect for a stroll. Admire the vessels and then explore
the atmospheric little lanes and squares that run off the main Marina.
Should shopping take your fancy then El Paseo also houses some really smart
shops selling everything from designer label clothing through to jewellery
and cosmetics.
Market
There is also a regular market in the Marina every Wednesday and Saturday
from 9am-2pm.
Bars and Restaurants
The Marina makes a great setting for a meal and there are loads of excellent
bars and restaurants to choose from, such as La Casa Roja and La Giralda.
